Hello people, I am new here, so let me introduce myself. My name is generalericson most military stuff you will see in my posts will be equipment used by my made up country of South Mirthan. a few of you may know me from the tabletown forums
this is my new improved version of my E89 panther, I present the E90 with working suspension(credit goes to Mack) The tank can cruise at 60 mph. the tank also features a rear escape hatch and unlike most tanks the engine is in front, because statisticaly thats were it is more likely to be hit. the engine would be destroyed if the tanks armor (which is classified composite) was penatrated, with the engine out of commision, the crew would still be safe and could escape out the rear hatch, this hatch can also be used for safely resupplying the tank with ammo during the heat of battle. it features an automatic loading system which is a step up from the kind the T-72 has in real life. the tank was designed for crew protection. the amunition is in the back of the turret underneat a hatch if the tank takes a hit in the rear of the turret the blast-proof safe the shells are in, diverts the blast upwards in a firey explosion. the force of the blast rips of the loading hatch and all the fire safely exits the tank. the armor is classified but I can tell you it consists of a layer of steel, then aluminum, depleted uranium (which is 12 times denser than steel) which also has air pockets, and finally a layer of carefully arranged ceramic plates it also features smoke grenade launchers. the tank can also operate in nuclear or chemically contaiminated enviroments, the interior also has space for storing equipment. the tank serves under south mirthan, it sports a 7.62 adler mg and a 120mm gun.
